THE SECOND LIFE OF CZECH TORAH SCROLLS

Exhibition from the Jewish Museum in Prague presented by the Czech Memorial Scroll Trust in London. Foundation for the Respect and Tolerance provided materials for three projects in the exhibition: Miniature Torah, Visit of the Congregation Hakafa in Lostice and Torah from the Mirov Prison.

A new exhibition from the Jewish Musuem in Prague, 'The Second Life of Czech Torah Scrolls', will run, on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm, or other times by appointment, until June 5th 2007. The exhibition will run again between September 2nd (European Heritage Day) and October 30th 2007 on Tuesdays and Thursdays or by appointment.

During 2007 the Foundation Respect and Tolerance created a new website and put together education programs on DVD and CD titled „Remembering Jewish Families from Lostice, Mohelnice and Usov”. Programs were produced tanks to the financial assistance from the Foundation for Holocaust Victims in Prague and are available to students free of charge.
