MENORAH

A seven-branched candelabra is the most visible symbol of Jewish religion. Originally God ordered Moses to make a golden menorah, while Jews were in the desert. Menorahs were used in the Tabernacle and Temple in Jerusalem. After Romans destroyed the second Temple in the 1st century AD they carried its golden candelabra to Rome (depicted on the Arch of Titus).
